A few days ago on Dec 1st I dined out for Lexington to benefit AVOL . Many local Lexington restaurants participated by donating a percentage of the days sales to AVOL . We chose to go to Saul Good ,it’s a locally owned restaurant with 2 locations in Lexington. I ordered the Argentinean Steak Pizza mostly because I love chimichurri sauce. One of my friends from Argentinian gave me this recipe for Chimichurri. Here it is..it’s delicious but you just have to taste as you go along to get it right. Cilantro +olive oil+ garlic+ lime juice+orange juice + oregano(small amount)+ cayenne pepper(or chili powder, just something for spice). It’s all “to taste”. You just have to keep adjusting. The vinegar’s probably most important to get right, and not getting to crazy with the lime juice.I like my food spicy so I added some tabasco sauce to the pizza and it was just perfect, not to filling either, as some pizza can be. The crust is baked from scratch and fired in a wood stove.
